Optimal fit
Check the fit, function, and comfort before proceeding to final production. Dreve’s 3D-printed trial shoe is manufactured based on your last and design data and enables a realistic fitting under practical conditions. This allows potential pressure points, fit deviations, or functional
limitations to be identified early and corrected specifically.
The highly transparent material allows for direct visual assessment of critical areas on the foot – without additional tools. At the same time, the trial shoe offers a balanced combination of flexibility and stability, enabling both unloaded or loaded and dynamic fittings.
A key advantage is the direct link to last production: The trial shoe can either be delivered together with the last, allowing adjustments to be made immediately and tangibly on the last. Alternatively, the fitting takes place beforehand so that the optimal last can be manufactured directly based on the insights gained. Adjustments are thus consistently transferred from the trial shoe to the digital data set and subsequently to the last – without media discontinuity and without manual transfer errors. This reduces iterations, shortens the development process, and significantly increases fit reliability.
The trial shoe is optionally available with an additional wedge to ensure a defined standing position and a reliable assessment under load. The result is a more efficient fitting process with fewer correction cycles and a reproducible, precise fit in the final custom-made shoe.
